Day 2

DAY 2: Discern and We can beat the heat!

The second day of the conference began with a workshop on the social dimension of climate change. The over-all objective of the workshop was to increase the awareness of the participants on the impacts of climate change, focusing on its social dimension.
In the afternoon, the session began with a video documentary on a community project funded by carbon mechanisms and was followed by the a presentation on the World Bank Carbon Fund Mechanisms. The rest of the afternoon was a series of case presentations on actual project responses of NGOs, LGUs to the climate challenge.
